We love a challenge at alive and so when NOVA 969 rang us to create a ‘lockdown’ in a shop window in Sydney, we rose to the challenge!
The winner of the NOVA London lockdown competition spent 17 Days living in the space which was ﬁtted out as a pretty cool ‘bedroom’ complete with multiple monitors streaming the Olympics 24/7 as passers buy stopped to take a peak inside this strange little world!
Webcams and live crosses kept listeners and viewers up to date at almost every moment! Crazy!
alive was proud to produce WYNNSDAY 2012 for Treasury Wine Estates for the 3rd consecutive year. To ensure that Australia’s most prestigious national wine event evolved to yet another level, we took on the challenge of multiple locations, live satellite links and a Masterclass to be staged in the enormous barrel hall at Wynns in the Coonawarra. In addition to this, several events were programmed at Wynns for select guests from around the country including Sketch in Melbourne, Blue Water in Perth, Centennial Park in Sydney, The Botanic Gardens in Adelaide and Alchemy in Brisbane.
For over 30 weeks, we worked with over 70 suppliers and crew, and alongside Melbourne Racing Club to bring alive 9 events across this year’s BMW Caulfield Cup Carnival! From colourful stages and fashionable frocks, to candy buffets and vintage floral carts, to powerhouse Mahalia Barnes, Adam Lambert, Eskimo Joe and our favourite Melbourne DJs – what is not to love about the races?!

Some fresh faces around the alive HQ have brought a host of fresh talents and skills and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed having Alex Bernard formerly from PwC (senior event coordinator), Nicqui Merlino (event coordinator) and Stewart Morgan all the way from the U.K (event manager) on board working on projects with our clients Cricket Australia, Medibank, Treasury Wine Estates, Banksia Environmental Awards and the Melbourne Racing Club.
Our broader family of core suppliers expands to include production specialists Larry Ponting, Mike Hall and Ben Robertson.
Collectively we have a powerhouse of event specialists and we’re not afraid to show them off!
We are thrilled to be have won Cricket Australia as a new client to deliver, with Harness Management, an exciting new live entertainment and event experience across the Commonwealth Bank One Day International Cricket Series Australia wide in 2013. Matches will feature high profile international musical acts including Basement Jaxx, with the remaining acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
We’re returning to Grand Slam Oval at the Australian Open with Medibank to produce their activation for 2013. After several months of collaboration with Interbrand (Melbourne) www.interbrand.com we are now just weeks away!
