The Australian Hotel Association engaged our team to elevate the Awards for Excellence, the industry’s flagship celebration recognising achievement, innovation, and leadership across hospitality.
The brief was to transform the annual event into a standout industry night. Partnering with Unbelievable Group, the objective was to deliver an unforgettable experience that positioned AHA as progressive, dynamic, and industry-leading. Goals included creating impact beyond the stage, ensuring full-capacity attendance (3,000 guests at The Star Event Centre, Sydney), and embedding entertainment that captured the true spirit of hospitality.
We delivered cutting-edge production design featuring custom motion graphics, large-scale LED integration, dynamic content, and a high-energy live opening sequence. Performances were uniquely curated to the event theme, featuring never-before-seen choreography and over 35 performers on stage.
A reimagined creative direction and meticulous design execution gave the event a cinematic sense of pace, blending seamless transitions, curated soundscapes, and lighting that transformed the entire room into a live stage. The result was an environment that immersed guests from the first cue to the final applause.
Attendance reached full capacity, with over 92% of guests rating the show “outstanding” and 95% of sponsors praising the elevated production and creativity. Extensive trade media coverage extended the event’s reach nationally, and post-event feedback from AHA described it as “a new benchmark for creativity, production, and engagement.”
