Queensland Holocaust Museum

Objective

We were engaged by our client, the Queensland Holocaust Museum and Education Centre to design and build their new museum in a dedicated space at Penola Place, Brisbane. This was to be the world’s latest Holocaust Museum and the first of it’s kind in Queensland, Australia.

Our brief was to design and deliver a creative, innovative, and imaginative temporary exhibit which enabled the project to deliver on the client’s vision to Inspire, educate and motivate visitors to stand up against intolerance, antisemitism, hatred, racism, and indifference and promote multiculturalism, acceptance, and harmony.

Our Idea

Our vision was for the museum and displays to be extra-sensory, interactive, immersive; to use innovative techniques in ways that have not been seen previously in Holocaust museums.

Not to be bound by dusty glass cabinets, static installations and artefacts but dedicated to engaging visitors in a compelling, memorable and deeply profound way.

A museum design that is not traditional.

Let’s talk about your next project.
