Queensland Holocaust Museum Immersive Experience
The brief was to create a museum experience unlike anything else seen before and, to connect with school students and a wider audience, globally. We produced a breath-taking, evocative interactive digital platform. With an audience-first mindset, we blended architecture, culture, literature, music, and art with the latest digital technologies.
The sensory-rich platform compellingly engages visitors with a factual historical journey of discovery of the Holocaust in a breathtaking account of an atrocious period in world history.

This world first digital experience not only showcases traditional museum displays but transports visitors to 1930s Europe using virtual reality and artificial intelligence in a way that is not offensive or too graphic.
The multi-sensory journey enables near-total immersion as they “walk” through cobblestone streets, listen to Yiddish music, and encounter various historical settings such as Jewish homes, a ghetto, the Reichstag, and a train bound for Auschwitz. These virtual environments are interspersed with testimonies from Holocaust survivors who settled in Queensland.
