The Dazzle and Wow of the Brisbane W Hotel Premier Party

W Hotels are known for redefining the traditional luxury hotel experience. W offers their guests a bold, playful, and edgy experience sure to fuel guests’ appetite for what’s new in design, music, fashion, and energy.

The W Hotel in Brisbane wanted to dazzle and wow guests—and that’s just what ALIVE and AZB did for this event! The event was a feast for the senses with the décor dripping in glitter and gold, the diverse entertainers spread throughout the venue, and the food and drinks as fun and decadent as the ‘all that glitters is golden’ event theme.

The Guests 

Guests came from near and far to attend this hot event. International and local guests were invited, including some local celebrities, to take part in the Brisbane W premier event. The guest list totalled around 800 and the event promised to wow each and every one.

The Entertainment

Wow! The event included both roaming and stage entertainment. The diversity and variety of the entertainment made this event really stand out. The roaming entertainers were something to see as they wandered throughout the event in visually imaginative costumes. Music for the event came from bands The Veronicas and Confidence Man early in the evening while a DJ kept the tunes going on the outdoor deck late into the evening.

Let’s not forget that while food and drink are nourishment, they are also entertainment! Guests explored and enjoyed food and drink stations placed throughout the event. Cocktails, appetizers, small dishes, and desserts—all beautiful, plentiful, and as delicious as the event itself.

The Look

Decadent. The décor of the event stayed true to the ‘all that glitters is golden’ theme. Glitter and gold could be found at every turn. The look was rich, sparkling, and fun. The look of the event allowed guests to escape into a new reality for the evening, sharing what the Brisbane W Hotel could offer its guests and Brisbane. The entertainers were a big part in adding to the flavour and feel of this event, as many of them were dressed in gold and glitter and transported guests to another world.

The Venue

Bold. The purpose of this particular event was to showcase the venue. The Brisbane W Hotel closed its doors to the public to host their premier event and guest rooms were reserved for event guests. Guests started the evening in the hotel lobbies with food and drink stations and roaming entertainers. The night continued in the hotel’s Great Room for the live stage entertainment. Guests enjoyed a DJ, more food and drink stations, and more roaming entertainers to end the evening on the outdoor deck of the hotel.

ALIVE and AZB took every opportunity to highlight the awe and decadence of the new hotel, and provide event guests a glimpse of what the exciting and new hotel can provide to Brisbane. It was a memorable night offering guests a feast for the senses that they will talk about for weeks!
